Saturday February 23rd
Over the course of the next 48 hours nearly 50 members of the Doreen Seniors club will be welcomed into the park, hot on the heels of the fantastic folk of the St Helena Probus who stayed with us last week, the club will make its way down from the outer Northern Suburbs of Melbourne for a stay in our peaceful little hamlet that is Port Fairy.
Port Fairy itself becomes a destination as the guests talk about the small towns, the bakeries, coffee shops and antique stores they stopped off on the way down often triggering memories of past holidays in towns like Geelong, Terang, Colac, Camperdown or even the route via Lismore and Mortlake.
On arriving they are greeted with a pack of welcoming Tim Tams and shown to their cabins or sites, they quickly muster to our function room where they will meet for happy hours over the coming days enjoying a glass of red, a bbq and a few laughs.
With some fabulous weather forecast over the next few days, the week promises to be full of smiles with Mini golf, pancake breakfasts, beach walks , a pub meal, shopping, history walks and some live music all on the agenda
Welcome guys and girls
